Over the past several years stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) has experienced a surge in popularity. Here’s why:
1. Paddleboarding is a great exercise! The combination of paddling while balancing on the board is good for your core strength, your leg and arm muscles, and its low impact, too.
2. Eco-Friendly Exploration: There’s no harmful damage to the shore, ecosystem, or aquatic life and it lets you get close to all the incredible sea-life and natural beauty in and around the beautiful beach!
3. Paddleboarding provides many stress-relieving benefits for the mind and body.
4. Connecting with nature. Paddle along the verdant coast of the Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve, past unspoiled beaches, and over coral reefs teaming with fish. The sights you’ll experience while paddling are simply breathtaking.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTENTABILITY
Pirate Snorkeling specializes in introducing guests to the incredible underwater life and natural beauty of the Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve, Ensenada Yegua, Fajardo, Puerto Rico's protected area. We are passionate about marine life and ecotourism and hope that our guests will be inspired to commit to protecting our oceans and marine life as well.
It is important that you do not touch the coral reefs, fish, turtles or any other marine animals. And please never feed the fish anything that a human can eat.
